Building on last year’s success, keen cyclists can once again register for Dubai Ride Speed Laps, an exclusive opportunity to push your limits and feel the thrill of riding at pace along the unforgettable Dubai Ride route on 2 November, 2025.

This thrilling event is the chance for experienced cyclists hit the tarmac at 5am and zip down the Sheikh Zayed Road route at an minimum speed of 30km/h and maximum speed of 45km/h, before joining family and friends for the main event.

Date: Sunday, 2 November 2025

Timings:

• Speed Laps: 5:00am – 6:00am

Route:

• Sheikh Zayed Road Route (12km): Starts at Dubai World Trade Centre and runs to Safa Park, including the Dubai Canal Bridge climb.
• The following speed groups are permitted:

  • 30km/h

  • 32-34km/h

  • 36-38km/h

  • 40-42km/h

  • 45km/h

Registration & bib collection

• Registration opens: 1 October 2025 via DubaiRide.com

• Bib collection: 29 October – 1 November at Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village Zabeel Park

All participants must be registered, collect their bibs in advance and bring the following on event day:

• Operational road bicycle
• Helmet (mandatory)
• Attached bib number (mandatory)
• Filled water bottle

Important details

Please note ONLY road bikes are allowed for Speed Laps. The following bikes are not permitted: 

• TT bike
• Mountain Bike
• Regular Bike
• Careem Bike
• Electric assisted bike
• Tricycle

Experienced cyclists who thrive on the thrill of fast-paced rides and know how to ride in a peloton. 

Tips for the day

• Check your bike’s brakes, tyres and gears the day before
• Wear sunglasses to protect from morning glare and dust
• Apply sunscreen and bring a cap or visor
• Arrive early
